Further images and project description to come. Here is an image of the finished product, main space. (Nice touch… the Goodyear blimp showed up for our grand unveiling.)
The new owner, Alex, toasts her new Airstream with Matthew and friends.
Rottweiler pups join the party.

LOVE IT! It is simply fabulous! The white on the interior makes it look so fresh and big!
Looks just like a shining pearl. Well done bro.
Looks super clean. Can’t wait for more pictures. I’d like to see a close up of how the fish tank is integrated.
Is this the Matt hoffman that went to Texas A&M? Hey man, how did you tile the bathroom. Just remove the plastic parts or tile over them? Don’t know much about airstreams but am considering buying one from a neighbor.
Another Matt - Check out our blog post at: http://hofarc.com/arp/the-bathroom/ for more information on the tile installation.
Wow. This is beautiful! Where do you get the roll down shades in custom widths? Thanks!
Look to blindster.com - a great resource!
great traveling cars…how long time for design and completed the interior?
We spend about 3 months on a custom trailer renovation.
Painting tambour doors can be a little tricky because the paint can cause the rollup action to stick. We start with a good quality paint, thinning it down a bit, and applying it with an airless sprayer — letting it dry well before reinstalling. We’ll lightly hand sand the edges that fit in the grooves with a little 120 grit.
The expandable bed in back is custom made with Hafele drawer guides and an electric actuator for easy opening and closing.
Sounds like you’ve got a good plan replacing one of the twins with a workspace.
Send us a couple of photos of your finished product… we’d love to see it.
