Hofmann Architecture has an opening for a unique opportunity to apprentice directly under Matthew Hofmann. You’ll be working side-by-side and learning from the guy who started it all. The ideal candidate will be one who recognizes the opportunity to work directly for the head of a successful design company, working closely with all aspects of managing numerous companies, developing systems, new product offerings, and design. We’re looking for a “diamond in the rough” who is looking for a challenging and exciting opportunity. Recognition of this as an apprenticeship with consideration for employment after the initial 6 month term.

Requirements:

This is to be considered education. The applicate should be Aware of unpaid position and able to financially support themselves without immediate compensation

Completed bachelors degree in Architecture or similar technical specialty. (if not completed degree, then equivalent experience or "in-process"

A strong grasp on design, creativity and architectural theory

Construction knowledge is a big plus, though not required

Independently driven, ambitious

Display strength in various CAD and 3-D modeling programs

Basic knowledge of Excel, google docs, photoshop

Highly self driven and capable of taking on projects and following strict deadlines
