Feature Product: FW1 Wash & Polish

One never knows where you can find answers and inspiration. Last month, HofArc CEO Wally Hofmann was driving along Hwy. 126 through Fillmore and pulled over at a Shell to get some diesel. “I stumbled on a product that has upgraded our Airstream polishing process for sure,” said Wally.

He discovered a “high performance cleaning wax” called FW1 Wash & Wax, that claimed to “clean exterior surfaces of motor vehicles” and “remove tar, dirt, bugs, tree sap, and more!”

At first, Wally was skeptical of the product, just as anyone would be of something that was being sold by a salesman with product on a card table in unfamiliar town. However, he thought that our HofArc polishers could give it a try and see how the polish works out. Wally thought, “Who knows? Maybe the polish will work.”

Not only did FW1 exceed Wally’s expectations, it was one of the best-finished polishing jobs he had ever seen at HofArc. “We’ve tried a ton of finishing products, but I found the best one at a gas station in Fillmore — what a hoot! But after seeing the final polish, I was amazed by how well it removes polishing grime and hard water spots.”
