Weighing in at just 1950 lbs., the 1964 Bambi is one of the most compact and lightest Airstreams ever made. This is the ideal Airstream for a couple or single traveler. The Bambi has a feather light hitch weight of just 250 lbs. If a 200 lb. partner stood on the rear bumper you could lift the front hitch easily by hand! The Bambi is also the most economic Airstream available. There isn’t leaner, simpler, less expensive way to pull a trailer – which is why they are so rare. Bambis are tough to find and their value reflects the demand – making them one of Airstream’s best pound-per-pound investments.
The first thing you’ll notice about this Bambi is it doesn’t feel small. There’s a shocking amount of storage – under seats, in cabinets, drawers, overhead and even a closet. The kitchen has ample space for food prep and cleaning.
